[Bugs and Fixes List] MIUI ROM by Ry09iu

I have created this thread in order to help new users of this fantastic ROM to solve their problems and for make it easier for the developer to find out which bugs have to be solved and which have already been solved.

BUGS:

version 3.10.11

1. Google Play crashes. (fix available, look below)
2. Whatsapp crashes. (fix available look below)
3. Is not possible to change the default date format (yyyy.mm.dd) into other date formats.

FIXES:

  • wipe data/factory reset -> Yes - Wipe all user data
  • wipe cache partition -> Yes - Wipe Cache
  • advanced -> wipe dalvik cache > Yes - wipe dalvik Cache
  • +++ Go Back +++
  • install zip
  • choose zip from external sdcard
  • BlueAndroid_V02.zip -> Yes - Install BlueAndroid_V02.zip
  • +++ G0 Back +++
  • reboot system now ->choose No or +++ Go Back +++

Huawei P6 -U06 B116SP01 Official for Device with Model of P6-U06

Just to share: I take no responsible if it does not suit your device. But it works on mine.

Not sure this for international. But I refer to the Model number of my device: P6-U06 (Setting > About Phone) 

ROM from Huawei Official China Site. 
I updated it to my Huawei P6（P6-U06) and It's working great! All my app and data stay intact (no wide data)

There are several updates:

Finally we'd like to introduce a working English version of ClockworkMod Touch Recovery for the Ascend P6... You heard that correct, no more wearing out those precious HW buttons, and more importantly navigation just became much more easier.


Installation Instructions
[INSTALLER VERSION]:

Code:

1. Install provided TouchRecoveryInstaller-vX_X.apk
2. Launch "Recovery Installer" from your homescreen.
3. Select "Install Recovery" and grant ROOT access on prompt.
4. Finally select "Reboot into Recovery" to launch CWM.

[Please note when installing zip files you'll need to select "choose zip from external sdcard" within the "Install zip" sub menu]

Installation Instructions
[BOOTLOADER VERSION]:

Code:

1. Ensure you have Recovery Installer (above) installed beforehand.
2. Copy TouchRecoveryLoader.zip to  the root of your external sdcard
3. Load the Recovery Installer and select "Reboot into Recovery" option 2. 
4. Once CWM Touch has loaded install TouchRecoveryLoader.zip via external sd card.

Reboot your device, to get into CWM Touch Recovery Hold Volume Down when device LED flashes red.

[How-To] Root Huawei Ascend P6 [3 methods]

Method 1
Using eRoot tool

  

Prerequisites
Install the driver for your mobile:Ensure that the device is disconnected from your computer and run the file by following the instructions
Once the driver is installed, connect the mobile and let any additional installations make necessary job.
When installation is donefor driver, it is recommended that you restart your computer.
If you encounter the following problems in the recognition of mobile software with root, install the software Huawei Hi Suite 1.8.xx that will provide the necessary drivers.
Download file [www.netded.com] 华为 P6 ROOT 包.rar and unpack

Root mobile
Enable USB debugging. 
To do this:
Go to Settings> About phone
Tap your build number until a secret menu appears
Enable debugging from the menu.
Connect your phone to your computer via USB
Down the notification bar and select as the connection mode to MTP mode
Launch ERoot.exe file after making sure that Hi-Suite is closed!
Wait a few seconds for the software to recognize device



Click "Root" and let it do the program! The transaction will be completed when the four steps have been completed.

Method 2
Using SRS One CLick Tool

  

Install the driver for your mobile:
Enable debug mode by going to Settings and selecting the menu about then tapping 5 times on the build number
Check the developer mode and enable debug mode
Connect your Huawei Ascend P6 to your PC via the supplied cable
In the notification bar select MTP mode
Launch the application SRS One Click Root
Click the Root Devices (All Methods) button
Let them do the application and follow the instructions
Huawei Ascend P6 Rooted !

The phone connected to the computer, and turn on USB debugging mode
